During our animal unit, we are creating some animal art. The first week, students made an orca whale using Coast Salish shapes and colours. They practiced colouring, cutting, and gluing. This week, students made a frog. They practiced tracing around a shape (two different sized circles), rolling paper on a paint brush, cutting, gluing, and painting. Although this took more time than expected, the students seemed to enjoy painting. Their frogs are adorable, too!
